If the display is warm, you cannot sell the food
Display cabinets are the shop window of chilled food. Serve-over counters in a deli or butchers, multideck cases in a supermarket, and glass-door uprights in a convenience store all have one job: hold product in the legal band while customers can still see it. When the air curtain collapses, the night blind is left up, or the evaporator ices, the top shelf cooks and the bottom shelf ices. That is a waste event and an EHO event. Display cabinet repair is therefore a same-day job for most retailers.

We train the duty manager on loading lines while we are there. A repaired case that is immediately stacked above the load line will fail again by Friday.

We quote before we start. Glass, lights and trims are expensive; we will not replace cosmetics if the refrigeration is the only fault. If a fan deck or controller saves the case, that is the job. Photograph the model badge inside the case before you call if you can. It speeds parts.
